We are Dreamcraft.

Dreamers, crafters, doers, fighters and fiery souls, paving the way for talented founders moving fwd into the future.

Our Culture.

We’re entrepreneurs at heart who get inspired by hard-working founders. Together we craft the dreams of tomorrow.

We are Dreamcraft.

Guiding principles.
1/3
Progressive.

We are young, curious and looking for the visionaries who disrupt our current knowledge and way of thinking. Whether that is how the job market is, how we travel, how we pay or how we spend our free time, Dreamcraft is there to progress with you.

2/3
Proper

There is properness, orderliness, propriety in the way we craft.
We take pride in being diligent and thorough. Many of us have been founders ourselves and know the storms founders need to stand steady through. Steadiness is what we base our work on – it is high quality – we build brick houses that can withstand even the heaviest storms.

For that, you need a proper foundation.
That foundation we craft together.

3/3
Down to earth.

We have the up most respect for the craft of building a solid business. But the thing that defines us the most, is the way we approach and balance out every encounter we have.
Down to earth. This is our style. We like t-shirts, not suits. We value advice and know there are always ways to improve.

That is how we work, who we are and what we value – being casual, approachable and down to earth.

Our story & DNA

Dreamcraft Ventures was founded in 2019 by founding partners Jesper Søgaard and Christian Kirk Rasmussen, and General Partner, Daniel Nyvang Mariussen. Carsten Salling became General Partner in Dreamcraft in 2021.

The fund originates from an in-house venture arm of the joint family office of the founding partners. Therefore, Dreamcraft Ventures Fund I was born with several portfolio companies. The Fund I has subsequently closed $30m of commitments from a broad LP base.

Founding partners, Jesper Søgaard and Christian Kirk Rasmussen, have co-founded and managed the company, Better Collective A/S, all the way from a two-bedroom apartment startup in 2004 to IPO in 2018 without raising funding from investors. Their amazing growth journey has been recognized by winning 8 Børsen Gazelle Awards and exceeding a market cap of $1bn in 2021.

The key to this accomplishment has been hard work, blood, sweat and tears in combination with a long-term perspective and an obsession with revenue metrics and capital efficiency. This business philosophy is reflected in the DNA of Dreamcraft Ventures. We get excited about founders with the same attitude.
