We were among the first investors in Banking Circle, and the decision was largely driven by our view on founder Anders la Cour. Anders demonstrated an extraordinary level of domain expertise and, more importantly, were able to lay out in incredible detail the steps between company founding and company maturation. It was the type of founder-startup fit that you only very rarely come across, and in our experience, that is when the magic happens.
